There are no hoops that stand between you and your rewards — just three banking basics that make life easier anyway! To earn your rewards, just do the following transactions and activities in your Kasasa Cash account during each Monthly Qualification Cycle:
- Have at least 12 debit card purchases post and settle
- Be enrolled in and agree to receive E-Statements
- Be enrolled in and log into online banking
Super simple! But if you don't qualify one month, don't worry — your Kasasa Cash account is still free and will still earn our base rate of interest. And you can get back to earning your full rewards the very next month!
*Qualification Information: Account transactions and activities may take one or more days to post and settle to the account and all must do so during the Monthly Qualification Cycle in order to qualify for the account’s rewards. The following activities do not count toward earning account rewards: ATM-processed transactions, transfers between accounts, debit card purchases processed by merchants and received by our bank as ATM transactions, non-retail payment transactions, and purchases made with debit cards not issued by our bank. Transactions bundled together by merchants and received by our institution as a single transaction count as a single transaction for the purpose of earning account rewards. “Monthly Qualification Cycle” means a period beginning one (1) business day prior to the first day of the current statement cycle through one (1)business day prior to the close of the current statement cycle. Reward Information: When Kasasa Cash qualifications are met during a Monthly Qualification Cycle, you will receive (1) Domestic ATM fees incurred during qualification cycle will be reimbursed up to $20 and credited to account on the last day of monthly statement cycle; (2) balances up to $20,000 receive APY of 4.00%; and (3) balances over $20,000 earn 0.49886% interest rate on portion of balance over $20,000, resulting in 4.00% – 1.08% APY depending on the balance. An ATM receipt must be presented for reimbursement of an individual ATM fee of $5.00 or higher. We reimburse ATM withdrawal fees based on estimates when the withdrawal information we receive does not identify the ATM fee. If you have not received an appropriate reimbursement, we will adjust the reimbursement amount if we receive the transaction receipt within 30 calendar days of the withdrawal transaction. *APY=Annual Percentage Yield. APYs accurate as of 10/01/2023. Rates may change after account is opened. If qualifications are not met, all balances earn 0.05% APY and ATM fee are not refunded. Qualifying transactions must post to and settle account during monthly qualification cycle. Transactions may take one or more banking days from the date transaction was made to post to and settle an account. ATM-processed transactions do not count towards qualifying debit card transactions. Additional Information: Account approval, conditions, qualifications, limits, timeframes, enrollments, log-ons and other requirements apply. $25 minimum deposit is required to open the account. Monthly enrollment in online banking, receipt of electronic statements, and at least 12 debit card purchases post and settle are conditions of these accounts.
